Dufferin County

dufferin-county-vertical…where inspiration takes root. Europeans first climbed these hills with oxcarts and ambition. They cleared land, built roads and harnessed rivers. They created a thriving economy to meet their needs and to export. We’ve encouraged growth of small business and industry ever since.

Ours is fertile ground…for crops… and ideas.

The air is clean, the soil deep and the water fresh.  It falls here first and flows down our heights into rivers and great lakes.

It’s not wilderness.  We have exceptional roads and highways, schools and sports facilities, libraries and colleges and high-speed communication with the world… yet despite the modern infrastructure, there is a vital wildness in our surroundings that we nurture and hold dear.

After all, nature is our inspiration.
